A fellow scholarship holder of the Sino British Fellowship at the Brighton College of Art Faculty of Art/Design in London UK, Voong is a member of the Kuching Art Club in the 1960s. During his membership, Voong has participated in all the annual exhibitions held by the Club since 1961. His works are mainly that of acrylic, oil, batik, and watercolour. The artist also delved into other forms of art such as sculpturing, copper tooling and wood carving.  At present, Voong’s works are in the collection of the National Gallery of Australia.
